Customs & duties
Personal imports by post are duty-free only up to ₹1,000 CIF per parcel. Almost all our orders exceed this.
- Paid shop order (personal import with payment): about 31% (30.98%) of CIF collected on delivery (recipient pays) — Mumbai Customs guidance after the 1 Apr 2026 CTH 9804 change.
- “Gift” is not duty-free. Gift assessment is higher (about 42–44% on Mumbai tables). Gift imports by post/courier are generally restricted (DGFT).
- Older Chennai / Bangalore FAQs may still show ~42% / ~54% / ~77% — those pages are outdated; the law is national, not city-specific.
- We declare the true value only.
